Treasures of the Heart - DIGITAL AI ART ONLY This Contest allows DIGITAL AI ART ONLY. No Photos or Traditional Art.

Contest Theme: Where the human heart is focused. Is it toward the lure of everything the world has to offer through wealth such as the accumulation of goods; being somebody; indulging in excess to please oneself first before others; perhaps even in the end enjoying a grand tomb? Before you start submitting artwork, let's see what the Lord Jesus Christ has to say about the treasures of the heart.

Jesus was tempted with the world’s trappings by the devil himself but told him to take a hike. Jesus warned everyone that by falling into the devil’s trap, you could even lose your own soul. See Matthew 16:24-26. Also Matthew 4:1-11; Luke 4:2-14; Mark 1:12-13.

Jesus told this parable, “The ground of a certain rich man produced a good crop. He thought to himself, ‘What shall I do? I have no place to store my crops.’ Then he said, ‘This is what I’ll do. I will tear down my barns and build bigger ones, and there I will store all my grain and my goods. And I’ll say to myself, You have plenty of good things laid up for many years. Take life easy; eat, drink and be merry.’ “But God said to him, ‘You fool! This very night your life will be demanded from you. Then who will get what you have prepared for yourself?’ “This is how it will be with anyone who stores up things for himself but is not rich toward God.” Luke 12:16-21.

Jesus said, “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. FOR WHERE YOUR TREASURE IS, THERE YOUR HEART WILL BE ALSO.” Matthew 6:19-21. (Text enhancement by admin)

SIMPLY STATED, Jesus is telling us, put your mind on what matters for eternity; worship God, not riches. Riches may evaporate overnight. Here today, gone tomorrow! Ships can sink. Barns can collapse. And aging gets us all. We can’t take a single thing with us when we die.

CONTEST RULES:

1. Suggested images for submission: the lures and the cures. The lures are numerous. The cures have to do with worshipping God first, then loving your neighbor as yourself. NO NUDITY. Images may include animals and nature if they support the theme.

2. Images may have text or no text. They may be secular or religious. Because this is a Catholic Art Gallery Group contest, however, no images may offend the Catholic faith.

3. The admin reserves the right to remove any images not meeting the contest rules at any time and without notification.

4. Again, ONLY DIGITAL AI ART is allowed into this competition.

5. The top 3 winners (ties will be honored) will be showcased on the group homepage for one week.

6. All images submitted to this contest must be owned 100% by the FAA artist.

7. Each participant may submit 3 entries.
