During the second season, Lucy and Ricky have a son named Ricky Ricardo Jr. whose birth was timed to coincide with her real life birth of her son Desi Arnaz Jr.
Lucille Desiree Ball was an American actress, comedienne, model, entertainment studio executive and producer. She was the star of the self-produced sitcoms I Love Lucy, The Lucy Show, Here's Lucy, and Life with Lucy, as well as comedy television specials aired under the title The Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour.
