Flowers and Scenery

Flowers and Scenery group is associated with the world wide group Fine Art America. All traditional mediums are accepted: AI, photography, digital art, drawings and paintings.

Submissions to our group should be in bright colors and must be related to FLOWERS and SCENERY. All photographs and artwork must be a recognizable scene from out of doors in the real world (e.g. not indoor still life). Photographs should be in focus and not fuzzy images.

Submissions Guidelines (read them, follow them, hopefully get featured):

1. No black and white, monochrome, or sepia images (a monochrome image is a photograph or picture developed or executed in varying tones of only one color, e.g. a blue sky against a blue sea, a forest in browns).
2. No sayings, words, or any kind of writing on an image (except the FAA imprint or artist signature)
3. No panoramic views (a panoramic is an image showing a field of view approximating an aspect ratio of 2:1 or larger, the image being at least twice as wide as it is high. The resulting images take the form of a wide strip).
4. No abstract images
5. No people or animals in the image no matter how small
6. No macro images of flowers without surrounding natural foliage
7. No flower images with a solid background only (bokeh images are okay)
8. No windows and doors, only building or architecture in a natural surrounding

These guidelines will be adhered to by the administrator. All images that don’t adhere to these guidelines will be removed.

We welcome all new members to our family of friends and fine artists. We have some terrific discussion threads for likes, favorites and/or comments. By being active in them you can receive many comments, favorites and views that promote your works.
