WELCOME TO FOUR SEASONS...
...where the group theme changes with each season. As the good Lord God promised Noah after the Great Flood, He said, 'As long as the earth endures, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night will never cease.' Genesis 8:22.
See the rules listed below for ease of reference:
1. The group will follow the changing seasons of the United States of America. Please refer to the schedule below for the dates and suggested topics for that season. IMPORTANT: SUBMIT ENTRIES THAT FOLLOW THE SEASON THEME; OTHERWISE, THE ADMIN MAY REMOVE OR REJECT THEM. The admin hails from the midwest...where the seasons truly change...even though Southern California has been home for many years.
2. Please post your best work to increase your chances of being homepage featured. This group is very active with lots of members, thus lots of competition. And excellence abounds here!
3. Monday is feature day. You may post one (1) image per day. SCROLL DOWN TO VIEW OVERSIZED FEATURES...ARTIST OF THE MONTH, MEMBERS WEEKLY SHOWCASES, CONTEST WINNERS, AND REGULAR WEEKLY FEATURES!
4. Per FAA preference, only 32 images are recommended to be allowed on the feature homepage at a time. However, the admin will feature a higher number depending on the entries submitted. The admin will feature new images on a weekly basis. To increase promotion of group members' art, in addition to regular weekly featuring, each week the admin will select at least five entries, from different members, to be oversized homepage featured in a Top of the Top Features category. After one week, those entries selected to T of the T will be permanently archived into a discussion thread for further promotion of your art. Another reason to submit your very best!
5. The admin likes contests! So keep alert for upcoming ones, and visit the discussion thread for contest ideas to make suggestions if you're interested.
6. All media are accepted. Text may or may not be included on images. No nudity.
7. Please no offensive content. The admin reserves the right to reject or remove entries at any time and without notification.
8. Please remember to abide by pixels and FAA rules when participating in discussion threads.

WINTER IMAGES. Please do not submit images off theme for the season schedule outlined below,
I.E., WINTER, the season the group is showcasing now. Reserve your winter images for the winter showcase, fall for the fall showcase, spring for the spring showcase, summer for the summer showcase. That way you have a greater chance of your images being accepted into the main gallery and being featured.
SPRING - March 20 to June 20 - your images could be a garden, a vase of flowers, a rain shower, a still-life with spring flowers, all Spring Sports, Flowering Trees, tadpoles, baby animals, Queen Bumblebees, Spring Landscapes, Religious themes, etc.
SUMMER - June 20 to September 22 - your images could be a convertible on Highway 66, Sunrise on the Beach, Seashell Still-life, Tropical Landscapes, All Summer Sports, Summer Landscapes, etc.
FALL- September 22 to December 21 - your images could be Colorful Trees, Pumpkin Patch, School, All Fall Sports, Thanksgiving, Bonfires, Mushrooms, Crab-apples, Fall Landscapes, etc. (Please, no Halloween concepts, including Halloween celebrations, hats, carved pumpkins, witches, or evil-inspired)
WINTER - December 21 to March 20 - your images could be Ice Skaters, Footprints in the Snow, Crackling Fire, Holiday Themed Still-Life, Religious Themes, All Winter Sports, Winter Landscapes, etc.
Art lovers can view and purchase their favorite works by searching the Artist of the Month, the Weekly Members Showcase, the Top of the Top Features, the regular Featured Images, and the main gallery at the Images tab.
